Jenna & Jameson
WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER IN FLORENCE - FPV DRONE FILM
Some weddings deserve to be told twice. As their wedding videographer in Florence, we made two films of Jenna & Jameson’s day at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, in the hills just outside the city: a vertical reel, made for phones and for sharing, and this horizontal trailer, made to be watched on a big screen with the sound turned up.

Jenna & Jameson
Jenna & Jameson: a spring wedding in Florence
Jenna & Jameson saw each other for the first time under an old tree in the garden, Jenna in an off-the-shoulder lace gown with long sleeves, Jameson in a white dinner jacket. Her father walked her down the aisle between bridesmaids in red, burgundy and gold, and they kissed at an altar of white and deep red flowers, between baroque statues, with vineyards and olive groves rolling away behind them. Then came dinner in the frescoed loggia, along a table dressed in green velvet and chandeliers of flowers, a cake cut under the fireworks and a party that went on until late with a saxophone and a DJ.

Filmed with an FPV drone
Many of the most striking shots in this trailer were filmed with an FPV drone. FPV stands for First Person View: a small, agile drone that the pilot flies through goggles, seeing exactly what the camera sees in real time. Unlike a traditional drone, which hovers and glides high above the venue, an FPV drone can fly low and close, pass by the windows of the villa where the guests are waving, glide along the frescoed loggia above the dinner table and dive over the Italian garden in one continuous movement.
It is a technique that very few wedding videographers offer, because it asks for a lot: a certified pilot with hundreds of hours of practice, a visual observer at the pilot’s side, as European rules require when flying with goggles, careful planning with the venue and a flight path designed around the guests, never above them. When it is done well, the result feels like a single breath of cinema, moving through the day the way your memory does.

A wedding videographer in Florence at Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte
A short drive from the center of Florence, Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte is a Renaissance villa with frescoed halls, a long loggia, an Italian garden with a fountain and statues looking out over the Tuscan hills. It is one of the most cinematic places we know near Florence. Discover more on our Florence wedding photography and film page, and in our guide to Tuscany wedding venues.
