Cinemotions Films is a luxury wedding photography and film studio founded by Luca Cristofari: we photograph and film weddings on Lake Como for couples from all over the world, from intimate ceremonies to three-day celebrations.
Our approach is editorial and discreet. We follow the light and the people, never the other way round, so that your photographs and your film feel like you. We accept a limited number of weddings each year, and the founder is personally present at every celebration, including those that come together at the last minute. Photography

Photography comes first in everything we do. Natural, elegant images that will still look right in thirty years: getting ready in the historic rooms of the villa, the ceremony by the water, portraits on the steps and the boat at golden hour. We work quietly, with very little posing, and we know where the light falls in the villas of the lake at every hour of the day.
Film
Cinematic wedding films on Lake Como
Our films are built like short pieces of cinema, with sound, rhythm and the voices of the people you love. Aerial images over the lake are possible with the right authorizations, which we arrange together with your planner. Many couples choose photography and film together, so that one team tells the whole story with a single signature.

We have photographed and filmed at Villa Erba and Villa Pizzo in Cernobbio, and we are happy to work anywhere on the lake: Villa d’Este, Villa del Balbianello, Villa Balbiano, Villa Sola Cabiati, the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, Varenna and the Tremezzina. Every villa photographs differently, and part of our work is planning the day around its light.

Lake Como wedding photographer: your questions
A few answers for couples planning a wedding on Lake Como.
Do you photograph and film weddings everywhere on Lake Como?
Yes. We are based in Rome and travel to Lake Como for every wedding, from Como and Cernobbio to Bellagio, the Tremezzina and Varenna, and we work anywhere in Italy and Europe.
Can you cover the whole wedding weekend?
Of course. Most Lake Como weddings last two or three days: welcome dinner, wedding day and a farewell brunch or boat tour. We can tell the whole weekend, with photography, film or both.
How far in advance should we book?
Saturdays in June and September are the first to go, often more than a year ahead. Because we accept a limited number of weddings each year, we suggest writing to us as soon as you have your date and venue. For last-minute celebrations, write to us anyway: when the date is free, the founder is there in person.
Can you fly a drone over Lake Como?
Yes, with the proper authorizations. Flights over the lake must be planned in advance, so we organize them early together with your planner and the venue.
Do you work with wedding planners on Lake Como?
Yes. We work alongside the planners and venues of the lake, and we are always happy to collaborate with the planner you have chosen.
How much does a wedding photographer on Lake Como cost?
