WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AT IL BORRO - TUSCANY
Before the wedding, there was pizza, and we were there as their Il Borro wedding photographer. In September, on the eve of their wedding at Il Borro, Remy & Toby welcomed their guests to a pizza party on the estate of the Ferragamo family, among cypress avenues, Italian gardens and the stone houses of a medieval village in the Tuscan hills.

Il Borro wedding photographer: a welcome under the Tuscan sky
Guests arrived along the stone lanes of the village as the sun went down over the Valdarno. A hand-painted sign with a striped awning and bright red flowers read “More amore, per favore”, setting the tone for the evening: relaxed, playful and unmistakably Italian.
Pizza, red flowers and candlelight
Long tables dressed with red flowers, tomatoes and tall candles waited in the garden, while the pizzaioli worked the wood-fired oven and finished every pizza with a drizzle of olive oil. Between courses, Remy & Toby slipped away for a few minutes on the cypress avenue of the estate, just the two of them, in the last light of the day.
